The main spheres of activity are integral
urban and industrial waste management, reinforcement of infrastructures
in relation to pollution control and monitoring, protection and
regeneration of the natural surroundings, and also the restoration
of environmentally deteriorated areas.
In terms of water resources, the axis includes measures for
improving the water supply, as well as sanitation and sewage
processing.
MEASURES
Measure 2.1: Improving existing infrastructures,
supplying water to the local population and local industry, sanitation
and sewage processing.
Sanitation in Ordizia
Sanitation in the municipality of Ordizia, water-cleansing
operations on the River Oria and construction of water collection
units to send the water to the sewage plant at Legorreta.

Construction of a sewer to collect sewage from the town of Bergara until the future sewage plant is built as well as various branches.

Designed to treat sewage from the towns in the Central Oria area, providing a service for the equivalent of 150,000 people. It includes low-load biological treatment and the removal of nutrients.
