Period 1994-1999: Quantification of funding in Gipuzkoa

We now turn to quantifying the funding received by Gipuzkoa from the European Union (EU) in the period 1986-1999:

Through Structural Funds, by objectives, by axes and programmes.
Through Community Initiatives.
Through Innovative Actions.
Through Cohesion Funds.

Detailed analysis of funding received by Gipuzkoa during these years and the posterior analysis of the distribution of that funding by axes and action measures will make it possible to assess the impact of Community Regional Policy in Gipuzkoa.
This paper does not indicate funds obtained for objectives 5b and those obtained from FEOGA, due to their sectorial specificity.

In the current programme period, 1994-1999, funding received by Gipuzkoa amounts to 17,063.5 million pesetas, of which 11,701.3 (69%) correspond to Structural Funds ERDF and ESF,

1,347.2 million pesetas correspond to Community Initiatives (8%), 4,015 million pesetas correspond to the Cohesion Fund (23%).
