This axis contains measures for protecting, improving and defending the environment as well as preventing and fighting against con-tamination. These actions correspond to the following typology:

  • refurbishing degraded industrial spaces (mines, quarries, factories, industrial bays, etc.)
  • establishing or developing centres and networks for observing and monitoring the quality of the environment
  • fomenting infrastructures for preventing, reducing and compensating the negative consequences for environment due mainly to productive activities (treatment and management of residuals, contaminated soils, etc.)
  • investing in the treatment of water resources in especially de-graded sections of rivers.
